Deleting or emptying bucket using MCG object browser

Learn how to delete or empty buckets using Multicloud Object Gateway (MCG) object browser.

Before you begin

  • Administrator access to Fusion Data Foundation.
  • Make sure MCG cluster is deployed and noobaa-endpoint-* pod is running in the MCG namespace.

Procedure

  1. In the OpenShift Web Console, click Storage > Object Storage.
  2. Click the Buckets tab.
  3. In the options menu corresponding to the required bucket, select Empty bucket.
  4. Enter the bucket name for confirmation and click Empty bucket.
  5. After the bucket is empty, in the options menu corresponding to the bucket, select Delete bucket.
  6. Enter the bucket name for confirmation and click Delete bucket.
