System requirements

To use IBM Sterling Fulfillment Optimizer with Watson, ensure that your system meets the minimum requirements for each adapter and integrated tool that Fulfillment Optimizer uses.

Component Requirements
An order management system, such as IBM® Sterling Order Management that transfers orders in real time to Fulfillment Optimizer by using the Optimization APIs.
  • If you are using IBM Sterling Order Management System without the shadow solver, you can use version 9.3, 9.4, or 9.5 or later. If you are using IBM Sterling Order Management System with the shadow solver, you must use version 10.0 or later.
  • IBM Java developer kit 1.8
IBM Sterling Order Management System might be necessary if you want to transfer non-real time data as events. If you are using IBM Sterling Order Management System to publish data as events, you must use version 10.0 or later.

To begin using IBM Sterling Fulfillment Optimizer with Watson, you must transfer data by using the Sterling Intelligent Promising file transfer adapter.
