Domestic shipping for the United States based on three-digit ZIP code prefixes

Domestic shipping for the United States based on three-digit ZIP code prefixes is enabled by default in Fulfillment Optimizer. To enable domestic shipping within the United States where carriers ship based on three-digit ZIP code prefixes, you must upload all data using files.

Domestic shipping within United States for five-digit ZIP codes

To enable domestic shipping within the United States where carriers ship to specific five-digit ZIP codes, you must upload Carrier Configurations, Rates and Times by using APIs instead of files. Please contact your IBM Account Administrator to provision your environment to accept Carrier Rates and Times via APIs.

These configurations are then used by the Optimizer API. For more information, see Optimization APIs.

Domestic or inter-country shipping for countries other than United States

To optimize based on global postal codes and for inter-country shipping, you must upload Carrier Configurations, Rates and Times by using APIs instead of files. Please contact your IBM Account Administrator to provision your environment to accept Carrier Rates and Times via APIs.
