Keyboard Navigation
To navigate and operate with the keyboard in the different panes of the Administration and Operation facility, you can use the following shortcuts:
- Ctrl-A
- Selects all items in a list. Is only applicable in lists which allow multiple selection, for example, the queue and message lists in the Message Printing pane.
- Cursor keys
- Use the cursor keys to navigate within lists or pop-up menus. This moves the focus to different rows, columns or cells within the lists or menus. Cursor keys also switch between notebook pages.
- End
- Use the End key within lists to scroll to the last entry in the list.
- Esc
- Use the escape key to leave pop-up menus.
- Page Up/Down
- Use the Page Up or Page Down keys to scroll within lists a whole page up or down.
- Pos1
- use the Pos1 key within lists to scroll to the first entry in the list.
- Shift-F10
- Use Shift-F10 (or the Select key on keyboards where it is available) to open the action pop-up menu. The action pop-up menus are available in lists, e.g. the Roles list in the Security pane.
- Space
- Use the space bar to select items in lists. The item which currently has the focus is selected. If the list allows multiple selection, you can use Shift-Space or Ctrl-Space to select multiple entries.
- Tab
- Use the tab key to switch the focus to the next visual element in the browser. Use Shift-Tab to focus the previous element.
