cre (create entities)

Purpose

Use this command to create an entity. If you use one of the characters that must be escaped in the CLI, remember to precede it by the backslash character (\). For a list of these characters, see Table 1.

Parameters

-cos name

The name of a configuration object set can be up to 24 characters long. Do not specify a name that starts with the characters dn in any combination of uppercase and lowercase characters. A name can contain only:

Hyphens (-)	Underscore characters (_)	Colons(:)

-ct name

The name of a configuration object type can be up to 254 characters long. Do not specify a name that starts with the characters dn in any combination of uppercase and lowercase characters. A name can contain only:

-ro name

The name of a role can be up to 254 characters long and can contain only:

Do not specify a name that starts with the characters dn, sag, or swiftnet in any combination of uppercase and lowercase characters.

-rg name

The name of a role group can be up to 254 characters long and can contain only:

Characters of the set [A-Za-z0-9]	Special characters #, @, or $	Periods (.)
Hyphens (-)	Underscore characters (_)

Do not specify a name that starts with the characters dn, sag, or swiftnet in any combination of uppercase and lowercase characters.

-desc desc

The entity description can be up to 1000 characters long and can contain only:
