CLI environment variables
Table 1 shows the CLI environment variables.
These variables determine the defaults for the parameters the .set command (see .set).

| DNI_CPCF | The code page that the CLI uses for data conversion in command-file mode. | -cp |
| DNI_I | The name of the instance where the command is to be processed. | -i |
| DNI_FMT | The setting to switch off the date and time formatting. | -fmt |
| DNI_OU | The identifier of the OU for which the command is to be processed. | -ou |
| DNI_S | The name of the service. This service is addressed when the command is entered. | -s |
| DNI_TL | The trace level for the CLI. | -tl |
| DNI_TO | The timeout interval that the CLI waits for responses before it prints an error message. | -to |
