Automatic field completion

Web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer can automatically complete the text for form, or input, fields. This feature is called either autocomplete or autofill. The text available for selection within a field is based on prior user input to that field and others. For some fields, this feature can assist the user because it eliminates some typing. However, the feature can also be a source of confusion when the text selections presented do not apply to the field in focus.

An administrator needs to consider whether disabling this feature benefits their Control Center users.

Note: The password fields displayed by the Control Center disable automatic field completion.
