Workbooks

The data setup utility (DSU) workbooks are used to control the import, export, delete, and validate operations. The DSU workbooks are:

Configuration data workbook: contains worksheets with the actual data used for the import and validation operations and is produced in the export operation
Map workbook: maps the column names used in the configuration data worksheets to the column names in the actual database tables
Cross reference workbook: controls the set of map and configuration data worksheets used for a specific DSU operation

The map workbook together with the cross reference workbook represent the "structural" aspect of the tables. The cross reference lists the tables involved in the process and the map controls the fields within the tables.

The workbooks are in Microsoft Excel format.
