FTM Usage Report Tool (URT)

Use the FTM Usage Report Tool to generate usage reports as needed. The URT:
  • Connects to the FTM database
  • Collects data for all master, inbound, and outbound transactions. The usage data that is collected is determined by parameters provided in a properties file, including start and end dates, and the deployment type which differentiates between production and test data.
  • Generates a spreadsheet that contains a separate worksheet for each of the following reports:
    • Machine summary by month
    • Machine summary by day
    • Product summary by day
    • Product details by day
  • Signs the spreadsheet
  • Creates a compressed file that contains both the spreadsheet and the signature.

This section describes how to install, configure and run the FTM Usage Report Tool (URT).

Note: The Usage Report Tool requires, at a minimum, Java™ 1.6 to function.
