Sender page

The sender page manages the attributes of a participant that is identified as a Sender. Only available when the selected participant is assigned the role of sender.

By default, a sender has no restrictions, which means they are allowed to send all items. However, there might be a need to restrict which items a sender can send. If a restriction is needed, the user can choose among item mappings that are identified with the type of restrict.

When an item mapping is selected, a read-only view of the items within the restriction is displayed to help the user ensure that the correct restriction is selected.

Actions

The actions that are available on the page are shown in the following list.
  • Reject transmission for batch errors checkbox determines whether the sender wants batch level rejects to reject the entire transmission.
  • Restrictions (Item Mapping) menu specifies which items from this participant as sender should be restricted. By default, a sender has no restrictions, which means they are allowed to send all items.
  • Save saves the changes for the participant.

Sender page validation

The following participant configuration setting is marked as invalid for the participant version sender.
  • If the sender preference is configured, then the participant must have the SP role configured.
