Contacts page

The contacts page allows the user to display and manage contacts.

Contacts page

The page has the fields that are shown in the following list. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk.
Selection control
The first column is used to select one or more contacts from the list. Clicking the table header selects all of the contacts in the list.
First name
The given name of the contact.
Middle name
The middle name of the contact.
Last name *
The surname of the contact.
Email
The email address of the contact.
Phone
The phone number of the contact.
Alt Phone
The alternate phone number of the contact.
Fax
The fax number of the contact.
Default
Indicates whether this is the default contact for the participant. There can be only one default contact per participant.
Types
The types that are assigned to the contact. Identifies the roles that the contacts play within the financial institution.
Email Notification
A flag, which can be used to indicate that a contact should be sent an email notification based on configurable rules.
Additional Info
Any additional notes about the contact.

Actions

The actions that are available on the page are shown in the following list.
  • Filter column displays the build filter link that you can use to create a filter for the columns on the page.
  • Create opens the Create Contact dialog box.
  • Refresh updates the displayed contacts.
  • Search entry field. Typing text in this field automatically filters the contacts that are displayed in the table. The table displays only those contacts that match what was typed in the search field.
  • Download CSV saves the displayed table view as a .csv file.
  • Customize columns displays a page to select which columns are shown or hidden on the contacts page.
  • Open documentation opens the help page.
  • Row settings configures the size and the spacing of the text that is displayed in the cells of the table.
  • Click a row in the table to display the details for that record.
  • A menu appears in the table header when you select one or more rows in the table.
  • Select all selects all the rows in the table.
  • Delete or Option > Delete deletes the selected contacts.
  • Cancel closes the menu in the table header.

Contacts page validation

The following participant configuration setting is marked as invalid for the participant version contacts:
  • A last name must be configured to a contact. No empty last names are allowed.
  • If there are any contacts that are configured for a participant, then there cannot be more than one default contact configured.
