Using the System Logs

When a problem occurs, open the SystemOut.log and SystemErr.log to learn what happened. Correlate the time of the problem with the times shown in the file. Depending on what is in the logs, it may be possible be able to determine if a problem in the environment, such as an unavailable Transaction Server or a loss of connectivity between components, occurred.

When reporting a problem to IBM® Support, include these logs for the time that the problem happened.
