Response to Request for Payment - Rejected by Debtor (TCH)
Scenario that describes the end to end processing of a response to a request for payment, which
is initiated by a debtor client.
The response message is sent to the debtor financial institution (FI), forwarded to the clearing and
settlement mechanism (CSM), and passed to the creditor FI. Once the response message is validated by the
creditor FI, it sends a status confirmation to the CSM, which in turn sends a status confirmation to the
debtor FI. The creditor FI also sends a notification to the creditor client.
