Entry Services Profile

Entry allocation is controlled by an entry services profile XML file that is created by the user. The name of the profile must be provided to the entry marker and entry allocation tasks when the tasks are configured. If the profile is not located in the same directory where the task is installed, make sure to specify the profile path in the task configuration.

The user has the option to use the entry services profile schema to validate the entry services profile and ensure that it conforms to the required format. Entry services profile schema validation is enabled or disabled during configuration of the entry marker and entry allocation tasks. Normally, schema validation is enabled for a task only to verify that the entry services profiles work before they are used in a production environment. Once the profiles work, disable validation. The entry services profile schema is provided in the Transaction_Entry_Services.jar file.

A sample entry services profile is provided in the artifacts pod of the Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform. Add the following value into the Services Framework entry allocation task configuration or entry marking task configuration task for where your profile is located. your-download-dir\\artifacts\\services-framework-artifacts\\services-framework-artifacts\\EntryServicesProfile.xml. For more information, see Entry Allocation Configuration Parameters and Entry Marker Configuration Parameters.
