Outbound Acknowledgment
Tasks that are in error or have completed running can be restarted.
When an outbound
acknowledgment task is restarted, it reissues the outbound
acknowledgment XML,
routing file, and end of file record. The files are again placed in
the Gateway outgoing directory and are reprocessed by the Gateway Server.
Note: Restarting a completed task can result in the delivery of
a set of files that have the exact names as the previous run. Use
a date and time substitution value in the file naming pattern to prevent
this from occurring.
When an outbound acknowledgment task ends in error status, the files are never delivered to the Gateway outgoing directory. Restarting the task may correct the error and deliver the files.
To restart an outbound acknowledgment task, click Restart on the task activity detail page. The task starts executing and the task activity page appears. The list on the task activity page now shows the task in queued status. To check the status of a task, click Go to refresh the task activity page.
