Manually running the Preload ISN Task

If necessary, the preload ISN task can be run manually. For example, the task might need to be run manually if an ISN assignment failed during a prior run.

A manual run of the task can process either a single batch, a single transmission, all eligible batches (sweep mode), or all eligible transmissions (sweep mode). Eligibility is based on the task configuration parameters.

The UOW Type for Sweep and Manual Mode configuration parameter determines whether the task processes transmissions or batches. When set to TRANSMISSION, it processes only transmissions. Likewise, when set to BATCHES, it processes only batches.

This parameter determines the screen, which is presented when the task is started in manual mode.

A single parameter is provided to the operator when manual mode is started. The field is either labeled Batch ID when the UOW Type for Sweep and Manual Mode parameter is configured as BATCH, or Transmission ID when the UOW Type for Sweep and Manual Mode parameter is configured as TRANSMISSION.

Enter the ID of the batch or transmission to process and click Run Task.

To start sweep mode, leave the field blank and click Run Task.
