Getting started and system check-out with the sample report

The sample report includes all of the parameters in Setting the report parameters with their default values, and can be initiated from any of the events. Loading and configuring the sample report in the Crystal Reports server creates a correct configuration for automating reports.

After a correctly configured task was run, go to the Services Framework task activity page and select view task activity details. Viewing the details provides information about the task execution and unit of work event information. For each report requested, a message indicates the result. Report parameters set by the task can be viewed in the Crystal Reports server.

The files that you need are provided in the FTM artifacts pod and must be downloaded from the pod. For more information about getting files from the artifacts container for your offering, see Getting the files from the artifacts container for your FTM offering.

The file for the sample report is CrystalReportingTaskSample.rpt.
