Service Trace

The service trace files are written as binary files and can only be analyzed by IBM®. Because the service trace is a debug trace that is generated for analysis, it is not in a human-readable format.

The service trace files are written in wrap around mode. The number of trace files is defined by the PROFILING_MAX_SVC_TRACE_SIZE entry in the VALUE table. It defines how many files, with a size of 1 MB, are written. If the maximum number of files is reached, the oldest file will be overwritten.
