Resuming a Task
A task can only be resumed if it failed. When a task that failed
during extract file generation is resumed, the task finds the file
tracking ID, fetches all records that were extracted, creates an output
file set, and send the file set to the Gateway outgoing directory. When
a task that failed while generating a route file is resumed, the task
takes the extract file names, creates the route and trigger file,
and sends the entire file set to the Gateway outgoing directory. When
a task that failed sending the file set is resumed, the task moves
the files from the working directory to the Gateway outgoing directory.
To resume a billing extract task, click resume on the task activity
details screen.
Note: The resume button is only available
when the task failed due to an error. The task begins executing and
the user is returned to the task activity screen. The list shows the
task in queued status. Click Go to refresh the
screen and check the task's status.
