Task configuration
To configure a task, do the following steps:
- Select the New Task Configuration link on the task configuration page in Control Center.
- Select the task name that was entered during task registration.
- Enter a unique name for the configuration.
- Enter a description in the description field. This field is optional.
- Select the appropriate response for each of the following task options:
- Activate task
- Process end of day
- Process cleanup
- Delete on complete
- Allow monitor
- Enter the specific task configuration values. For the configuration parameters, see Configuration parameters.
- Click Save.
Notes:
- For more information about any errors that occur with the MCRE task, see MCRE Task.
- For more information about which task options the outbound acknowledgment task supports, see Outbound acknowledgment configuration parameters.
- If any errors occurred validating the fields that are used by outbound acknowledgment, an error message appears. Fix any errors and save the configuration again.
