Task configuration

To configure a task, do the following steps:
  1. Select the New Task Configuration link on the task configuration page in Control Center.
  2. Select the task name that was entered during task registration.
  3. Enter a unique name for the configuration.
  4. Enter a description in the description field. This field is optional.
  5. Select the appropriate response for each of the following task options:
    • Activate task
    • Process end of day
    • Process cleanup
    • Delete on complete
    • Allow monitor
  6. Enter the specific task configuration values. For the configuration parameters, see Configuration parameters.
  7. Click Save.
Notes:

  • For more information about which task options the outbound acknowledgment task supports, see Outbound acknowledgment configuration parameters.
  • If any errors occurred validating the fields that are used by outbound acknowledgment, an error message appears. Fix any errors and save the configuration again.
