Message logs

Log files: *.xml

The location and base file name of the log files for the component is determined by the logFileName configuration parameter of the component. For example, the default setting for Business Rules Server is ../business-rules-server/logs/%podname%/pdslog%g.xml. The snapshot includes all files in the Business Rules Server logs/%podname% directory that match the file specification of pdslog*.xml.

Several components automatically add information to the message log so that it is captured by the snapshot. The type of information added to the message log by each component is described in the component-specific topics.
