Communicating with the Transaction Server

The Transaction Server can be configured, using its Scheduler.xml file, to send several types of messages to the Distribution engine. The event types and messages used by Distribution are shown in the following list.

• BusinessDayPurgeEvent event
• BusinessDayStatusChange event
• EndOfDayCheck event
• fileToFileCheck message
• HoldoverBusinessDayEvent event
• PaymentDeleted event
• PaymentExceptionChange event
• presStatesReached message, which is used to indicate that the state of a batch (ICL) has changed
• SendEndOfDayFilesEvent event
• unloadDepositGroup message
