Select Table to View Business Rules

The select table to view business rules screen displays the list of available tables for manually updating business rules.

The following are the items and descriptions being displayed on the above screen:

Note: This screen does not display the prefix tables because, with the manual update process, the application automatically handles the insertion of the prefix table if it is required. For example, account insertion checks if the account prefix record exists or not. If it does not exist, the system inserts the account prefix record prior to the insertion of an account record.

The hierarchy of each table is important when the business rules are edited with the import and export process. The table with the lower hierarchy must be inserted or updated prior to the higher hierarchy tables; otherwise, the constraint validity check fails.

Click the manage business rules icon on the left side of each table and the system displays the list of the business rules for the selected table. The table record also displays an indicator regarding the error status. If a selected table experienced an error in a previous import process, the system displays a table status as error. In this case, verify the validity of the existing business rules records prior to accessing the manage business rules screen.
