Manually Running the Task

To manually run the MCRE task, follow these steps:
  1. Start the Control Center
  2. Navigate to the task configuration page.
  3. Select the Run Task Configuration icon to display the run task configuration page. Enter the runtime parameters as needed.
    Note: When running the task manually, the values entered during this step are used instead of the values defined during the original task configuration. The original configuration values are used only when the task runs as a scheduled task, an event based task, or is restarted.
  4. Click Run Task. A confirmation message is displayed.

The MCRE task extracts the data and puts it in the configured directories. The task activity can be viewed. For more information about viewing a task, see Services Framework User's Guide.
