Crystal reporting task

The Crystal reporting task automatically initiates reports on a Crystal Reports server when configured events occur on the Transaction Server. The task can be scheduled or run manually by using the Services Framework user interface.

Transaction Server and Distribution must be installed before you can install the Crystal reporting task. A licensed BusinessObjects Crystal Reports server must also be available.

Follow these steps to be able to use these Services Framework tasks. Use the Services Framework user interface to register and configure the tasks.
  1. Ensure that the prerequisite JAR files are copied to Services Framework. For more information, see Adding features and tasks to the Services Framework library.
  2. Register the Crystal reporting task. A Services Framework task can be registered only one time. It is then available for configuring and scheduling.
  3. Configure the Crystal reporting task.
  4. Configure the Transaction Server.
