ODFI NOC Processing

The ODFI checks the account details of the incoming transactions from its partners against the original account details in its NOC data. If the incoming message matches a NOC record, the transaction is known to have old account details. The account details for the transaction can be updated by the ODFI before sending it to an RDFI.

When a NOC batch is received by an ODFI, each NOC transaction in the batch is validated. If validation passes, the NOC data from the transaction is stored. If validation fails, the ODFI generates a NOC refusal transaction and sends it to the RDFI.
