Permissions created during task registration
These permissions are dynamically created by the Services Framework user interface
when a new task is registered using the register task page. Task level permissions can be used to
restrict a group to using only certain tasks instead of permitting access to all of them. Sample
task level permissions for the task configuration page are:
- Activity purge task – view
- Activity purge task – delete
- Activity purge task – edit
Task level permissions are used for screens such as task configuration, task scheduler, task operations, and task activities. They do not apply to the task registration screen, where users are allowed to register new tasks or change existing registered tasks.
Table 1 shows the additional permissions,
by category, available for each task after it is registered.
