Prioritization
Setting priorities for payments is a way to try to ensure that the service level agreements (SLAs) for all of the real-time payment schemes are met. The priority value that is assigned to incoming and outgoing payments is used to help determine which payments are processed before others.
Payments that arrive on a channel are assigned a configurable priority. By default, incoming payments have the highest priority and outgoing batched payments have the lowest. Configure the priority for an FTM channel by using either the Operations and Administration Console user interface or the application model in Rational® Software Architect (RSA).
