Inbound Archive Task Configuration Parameters

A system administrator must define the properties while configuring the inbound archive task. The new task configuration page contains the properties in Table 1.
Table 1. Inbound Archive Task Configuration Parameters
Field Required Default Description
Target Directory Yes   The path of the target directory. After the archive file set is created, the file set is saved at the specified path. If Gateway is installed, this path must be the Gateway outbound processing directory. For example, the directory structure of this path is /opt/ibm/ftm/runtime-processing/outbound/source
Transmission Definition Yes   The name of the transmission definition to use. For example, Sample01_FILE. For more information about creating the transmission definition, see Transmission Definitions Management.
Business categories   ALL The business categories to be extracted. Specifying ALL extracts data for all of the categories. To select specific categories, list the categories separated by commas.
Route File Extension   .rte The file extension used to create the route file. After running the inbound archive task, a route file is created with the specified extension.
Trigger File Extension   .eof The file extension used to create the end of file file. After the inbound archive task completes running, the end of file file is created to trigger Gateway and indicate that the file set is complete.
Transmission Tracking Interval   5 The interval, in minutes, to be used when creating a file trackable entry for an extracted data file. A value of zero (0) is used to disable the file tracking process.
Small transmission maximum   300 The maximum number of bytes for a small transmission
Medium transmission maximum   20000 The maximum number of bytes for a medium transmission
State Condition   All The state of the transactions that are to be extracted. Specifying All extracts data for all of the transactions. To select specific states, list the states separated by commas. Valid values for the specific states are:
  • Accepted
  • Rejected
