EWA file creation extract task configuration parameters
The configuration properties for the EWA file creation extract task are shown in the following table.
| Field | Required | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Target directory | Yes | The path of the target directory. After the EWA file creation extract file set is created, the file set is saved at the specified path. If Gateway is installed, this path must be the Gateway outbound source directory. | |
| Working directory | Yes | The path of the working directory. This directory is used as a temporary repository while the extract file is created. | |
| File definition | Yes | The name of the configured transmission definition. For example, Sample01_FILE. For more information about creating the transmission definition, see Transmission Definitions Management. | |
| Bank Number | All | Used to include the data related to the listed bank numbers in the data file. The

banks. Each bank must exist in the Control Center. For example, type All or
1, 2, 3. |

| Business category | The business day category to include in the output data file. This parameter needs to be specified only when several business categories are assigned to the current business date. | ||
| Route file extension | .rte | The file extension used to create the route file. After the task is run, a route file is created with the specified extension. | |
| Data file extension | .xml | The file extension used to create the data file. After the task is run, a data file is created with the specified extension. | |
| End-of-file extension | .eof | The file extension used to create the end-of-file file. After the task completes running, the end-of-file file is created to notify Gateway and indicate that the file set is completed. | |
| File tracking timeout | 5 | The interval, in minutes, to be used when a file-expected event entry is created for an extracted data file. A value of zero is used to disable the file tracking process. | |
| Small file maximum | 300 | The maximum number of bytes for a small file size | |
| Medium file maximum | 20000 | The maximum number of bytes for a medium file size | |
| Repost | N | Determines whether the task is to be rerun when the data file achieves the maximum limit
of its file size and few records are still pending. Y causes the task to run again and to
extract the information in the remaining adjustment records. N prevents the rerunning of the
task. |
