Billing Extract Task Configuration Parameters

The configuration properties for the billing extract task are shown in Table 1.

Target directory Yes   Path of the target directory. After the billing file set is created, it is saved at the specified path. If Gateway is installed, the path must be the Gateway outbound source directory. An example is /opt/ibm/ftm/runtime-processing/outbound/source.
Working directory Yes   Path of the working directory, which is used as a temporary repository when the billing extract file is created. An example is /opt/ibm/ftm/services-engine/services-engine/working.
Transmission definition Yes   Name of the transmission definition that was configured. For more information about configuring transmission definitions, see Transmission Definitions Management.
Bank Number No All Bank numbers to include the data associated with the bank in the data file. A value of all extracts all banks. Insert commas to separate the bank numbers. All banks must exist in Common Services.
Categories Yes   Business day categories to include in the data file. A value of all extracts all categories for the current business day. Insert commas to separate multiple categories.
Trackable Interval Yes 5 minutes Interval in minutes used when creating a trackable entry for the extracted data file. A value of zero (0) is used to disable the file tracking process.
Data file extension No .xml File extension used when creating the data file. After running the billing extract task, a data file is created with the specified extension.
Route file extension No .rte File extension used when creating the route file. After running the billing extract task, a route file is created with the specified extension.
Trigger file extension No .eof File extension used when creating the end of day file. After the task completes, the end of file is created to indicate that the file creation task is complete and to prompt Gateway.
Small file maximum   300 Maximum number of bytes for a small file
Medium file maximum   20000 Maximum number of bytes for a medium file
