Accounting Extract Task Configuration Properties

A system administrator must define the properties while configuring the accounting extract task. The new task configuration page contains the properties in Table 1.

Target Directory Yes   The path of the target directory. After the accounting extract task file set is created, the file set is saved in the specified path. If Gateway is installed, this path must be the Gateway outbound source directory.
Working directory Yes   The path of the working directory. This directory is used as a temporary repository while the extract file is created.
Transmission definition Yes   The name of the transmission definition configured in Common Services. For example, Sample01_FILE. For more information about creating the transmission definition, see Manage Transmission Definitions Page.
Bank Number   All Used to include the data related to the listed bank numbers in the extract file. The All value extracts all banks. Insert commas to separate each individual bank number. Each bank must exist in Common Services. For example, type All or 1, 2, 3.
File Tracking Interval   5 minutes The interval, in minutes, used when creating a file trackable entry for the extracted data file. A value of zero (0) is used to disable the file tracking process.
Categories   All Provides the business day categories to include in the data file. The All value extracts all categories for the current business day. The specific categories must be identified by providing the categories separated by commas. For example, 1, 2, 3.
Data file extension   .xml The file extension used to create the data file. After running the accounting extract task, a data file with the specified extension is created.
Note: Include the starting period when specifying the file extension.
Route file extension No .rte The file extension used to create the route file. After running the accounting extract task, a route file with the specified extension is created.

Trigger File extension No .eof The file extension used to create the end-of-file file. After the accounting extract task completes running, the end-of-file file is created to notify Gateway and indicates the file set is completed.

Small file maximum   300 The maximum file size, in bytes, for small files. The file size is used on the services performance monitor page. This value is used only if performance monitoring is enabled for the extract.
Medium file maximum   20000 The maximum file size, in bytes, for medium files. The file size is used on the services performance monitor page. This value is used only if performance monitoring is enabled for the extract.
