View Task Registry page

The list of tasks that have been registered are displayed on the view task registry page . The default view is read only to prevent users from accidentally changing fields. Users with edit permissions can click the edit icon to change to edit mode. Some parameter values, such as passwords, may be hidden. They are shown as a series of asterisks (***). The following table shows the fields that can be edited.

Field Description
Task name Name given to the registered task. It must be unique in the system. It is required and can have a maximum of 60 characters.
Description Detailed description that identifies the purpose of the task. It is optional and can have a maximum of 512 characters.

Actions

The actions available on this page are:
  • Help link opens the help page. This link is located in the upper right of the page.
  • Edit icon, which changes the page to the edit mode.
  • OK returns to the task registry page.
  • Cancel edit mode returns the page to the view mode. Any unsaved changes are lost.
  • Update validates the fields and updates the task in the Services Framework.
  • Cancel returns to the task registry page. All unsaved changes are lost.
