View raw data dialog box
The view raw data dialog box displays the raw data for the selected transmission and allows the user to search for text within the raw data.
View raw data fields
The view raw data dialog box has the following fields:
- Raw data
- Displays the raw data for the transmission. If no raw data is available, this field displays a message indicating that there is no raw data for the transmission.
- Find
- Enter the text to be found in the raw data.
Actions
The actions available on this dialog box are:
- Help link opens the help page. This link is in the upper right corner of the dialog box.
- Find and replace icon, which looks like a magnifying glass, displays the find and
replace fields, check boxes, and buttons.Note: The replace fields are disabled so raw data cannot be updated.
- Find searches for the text that is entered in the find field.
- Match case check box enables and disables case sensitive searching. When the box is checked, the search is case-sensitive.
- Backwards check box changes the search direction from forwards to backwards. When the box is checked, the search direction is backwards.
- Close returns to the transmission hierarchy page.
