Task Activity - configuration name page

The page provides more information about a task activity record. You can also restart or resume the task.

Task Activity Details fields

The page has the fields that are shown in the following list. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk.
Task name
The name of the registered task.
Configuration
The name of the task configuration that processed the run request.
Status
The status of the run request for this activity record.
Status detail
An optional message that is associated with the status of the run request for this activity record. It contains informational task processing text when the record is in an error state.
Job description
Detailed information that describes the specific run request for the task.
Created
The date and time that the task was first run.
Start
The date and time that the task was last started, restarted, or resumed.
End
The date and time that the last execution of the task finished. The last execution of the task might be from when it was started, restarted, or resumed.

Task Messages section

The task messages section on the lower half of the page displays more information about all of the task activity messages that occurred when Services Framework ran the task.

The columns that are available on this part of the page are shown in the following table.

Column name Description
Date The date and time for each task activity message that was created during the initial run of the task. The date and time does not change for subsequent runs. It is displayed in the time zone of the user. For more information about configuring the time zone setting for a user, see Users page.
Type The type of the task activity message that was created.
Name A descriptive name for the task activity value that is shown in the value column. Examples for the name are shown in the following list:
  • Total Records
  • Trackable ID
  • Archive File
Value The task activity value that corresponds to the description that is shown in the name column. Examples for the value are shown in the following list:
  • 3243
  • F218GX21TY
  • ISSArchive.data

Actions

The actions that are available on the page are shown in the following list.
  • Filter column displays the build filter link that you can use to create a filter for the columns on the page.
  • Search entry field. Typing text in this field automatically filters the task activity configurations that are displayed in the table. The table displays only those configurations that match what was typed in the search field.
  • Refresh updates the displayed task activity configurations.
  • Download CSV saves the displayed table view as a .csv file.
  • Customize columns displays a page to select which columns are shown or hidden on the page.
  • Row settings configures the size and the spacing of the text that is displayed in the cells of the table.
  • Open documentation opens the help page.
  • Cancel returns to the Task Activity page.
  • Resume resumes the task that is associated with the task activity record. When the task activity record is resumed, processing begins from where the task last finished. Resume is available only if the task supports the resume function and it failed where the resume process is applicable. The user must have the permission to resume the specific task.
  • Restart restarts the task that is associated with the task activity record. Processing starts from the beginning when a task activity record is restarted. The user must have the permission to restart the specific task.
