Segments

This view provides a high-level display of the segments within Distribution for a specific business day.

Each entry displays a total number of outbound segments that are assigned to that business day. It also has the total number of segments that are in some type of error status. If any one segment for the business day is in an error status, the entry for that business day is highlighted.

The following information is shown for each entry.

Business Day: The processing date and category with which the segments are associated. The value for the business day field is a combination of the site, business date, and category fields, which are separated by commas. The category can be used to separate work for the same business date. The status of the business day is shown within parentheses.
Segments: The total number of segments that are associated with the business day.
Warnings: The total number of segments that are associated with the business day and contain warnings.
Errors: The total number of segments that are associated with the business day and have an error status. If this number is greater than zero, this entry is highlighted and the number is a link. Click the link to display a page that shows all of the segments that are in error for that business day.
