Manage comments page
The manage comments page is used to add or change the comment lines for the adjustment error that is selected from the adjustment errors page. To display the page for a record, click on the adjustment errors page.
Fields
The fields that are available on the page are shown in the following list. Required fields are indicated
with an asterisk.
- Adjust code
- The adjustment code associated with this adjustment error. This field is read-only.
- Group Adjust
- Indicates whether NCI adjustments are to be grouped for this error. This field is read-only.
- Item Type
- The transaction type associated with this adjustment error. This field is read-only.
- Use Error Description
- Indicates whether the comment lines for this adjustment error are used during reporting validation errors. This field is read-only.
- Display Order
- Indicates the order in which the comment lines are displayed or used. When you add or update a comment line, set this field to the position in the list where the comment line belongs.
- Comments *
- Enter or update the comment for the comment line. This field contains up to 64 characters.
Comment lines associated with the adjustment error
This section of the page displays the comment lines that are associated with the adjustment error. The information that is displayed for each comment is shown in the following table.

Actions
The actions that are available on the page are shown in the following list.
- Open documentation opens the help page.
- Add adds the new comment line to the adjustment error.
- Update updates the comment line that is being edited using the edit icon.
- deletes the comment line from the adjustment error.
- Filter column displays the build filter link that you can use to create a filter for the columns on the page.
- Search entry field. Typing text in this field automatically filters the records that are displayed in the table. The table displays only those records that match what was typed in the search field.
- Refresh redisplays the list of records to show any new records and the updates that are made to existing records.
- Download CSV saves the displayed table view as a .csv file.
- Show more text in table cells (up to 50 lines) shows up to 50 lines of text in a single table cell. The default is to show 5 lines. You can set the table view to either 50 lines or 5 lines at a time.
- Show less text in table cells for easier reading (up to 5 lines) shows a maximum of 5 lines of text in a single table cell. You can set the table view to either 50 lines or 5 lines at a time.
- Customize columns displays a page to select which columns are shown or hidden on the page.
- Row settings configures the size and the spacing of the text that is displayed in the cells of the table.
- Save saves the comment fields and returns to the adjustment errors page.
- Cancel returns to the adjustment errors page. All unsaved changes are lost.
