Disposition buttons
Under the MICR data area are several buttons that are used to work with the item that is being viewed. They
are shown in the following list.
- Repair Item
- Submits the data on the page. After an item is accepted as valid, the next item in the priority sequence is displayed for repair.
- Reject Item
- Marks the item as unresolved if it cannot be repaired by using the available information. After an item is marked as unresolved, it is not displayed again for repair and can be returned.
- Defer Decision
- Indicates that the item can be repaired, but not right now. After an item is deferred, it is added to a pool of deferred items that need to be repaired. The user ID of the last operator is recorded by Payment Repair, as is the user that deferred the decision. After an item is deferred, the next item in the priority sequence is displayed for repair.
- Update IIA Flagged Item
- When an item has image integrity analysis failures, this button is displayed and Repair Item is disabled. Click Update IIA Flagged Item to submit the data that is on the page. After an item is accepted as valid, the next item in the priority sequence is displayed for repair.
- Reject IIA Flagged Item
- This button is displayed only when an item has image integrity analysis failures. Click Reject IIA Flagged Item to submit the data that is on the page. The changes are validated and then the item is rejected similar to using Reject Item. After an item is validated and rejected, the next item in the priority sequence is displayed for repair.
- Skip Item
- Bypasses the item with no decision made. Items that are skipped are not redisplayed to this operator during the current session. If the skipped items were not repaired by other repair operators, they are displayed at the next login.
