Custom attributes step
This page displays any custom attributes that are defined for the endpoint or sidepoint. When this page is used to create or edit an endpoint, the validation status is displayed near the name of the step. If all of the fields are correct for the step, a check mark is displayed. If any of the fields have a validation error, a red triangle is displayed for the step.
The page for this step is displayed only when there are any custom attributes defined for this endpoint or sidepoint. The ID of the selected endpoint or sidepoint is displayed in the title of this page.
Columns
This step has the columns shown in the following table.
| Column name | Description |

| Attribute | The name of the custom attribute. |
| Value | The current value assigned to the custom attribute. |
| Inherited value | If this attribute is defined at the global or participant level, it inherits its value from one of those levels. The inherited value is displayed, along with the level that the attribute inherited the value from. Values from the participant level override the global values. If an attribute has values from both levels, the value from the participant level is the one that is inherited. |
Actions
The actions available on this page are:
- Back displays the page for the prior step, if there is one.
- Next displays the page for the next step, if there is one.
- Finish saves any changes for all of the steps and returns to the endpoints / sidepoints page.
- Cancel does not save any changes and returns to the endpoints / sidepoints page.
