Create, view, or edit Processing Window page
The page displays the fields that are used to create, view, or edit a processing window. For existing processing windows, the name of the processing window is displayed as the title of the page.
To navigate to the page, click Create or the View details icon on the processing window page.
Processing window fields
The page has the fields that are shown in the following list. Required fields are indicated with an
asterisk.
- Window name *
- The name for this processing window.
- Status *
- The status of this processing window. It is active or inactive.
- Business day category *
- The business day category for this processing window.
- Window type *
- The type for this processing window. Select it from the list of types.
- Receipt cutoff day *
- Select how the date on which the receipt cut-off time occurs is calculated for this processing window.
- Receipt cutoff time*
- The daily receipt cut-off time for this processing window.
- Distribution
- This part of the page contains the fields for processing windows that support Distribution. It
is only shown when the selected window type includes Distribution.
- Distribution cutoff time *
- The daily distribution cut-off time for this processing window.
- Delivery time *
- The daily delivery time at which outbound transmissions are late going to their receivers for this processing window.
- Reschedule cutoff interval (seconds) *
- The amount of time, in seconds, that the delivery window cutoff task waits before it checks the transmission release criteria and releases transmissions again.
- Reschedule cutoff max retry count
- The maximum number of times that the delivery window cutoff task can be rescheduled.
- Receivers can opt out
- Select this box if the receiver can opt out of this processing window.
Actions
The actions that are available on the page are shown in the following list.
- Learn more link opens the help page. This link is located at the top of the page.
- Save saves the processing window and returns to the processing windows page.
- Cancel returns to the processing windows page. In edit mode, this action returns the page to view mode. All unsaved changes are lost.
- Edit is available in view mode and changes the page to edit mode.
- Close is available in view mode. It returns to the processing windows page.
