Create, view, or edit expected transmission page
The expected transmission page displays the fields that are used to define or update an expected transmission for the participant.
Expected transmission fields
This page has the following fields. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk.
- Description *
- The description for this expected transmission.
- Business category
- Enter an optional business category for this expected transmission.
- Transmission type *
- The transmission type to use for this expected transmission. Select the type from the list.
- Expected time *
- The time at which this transmission is expected. Either type the time or select it using the select time control, which looks like a clock.
- Affects end of day
- Indicate whether the expected transmission affects the end of day processing. Selecting the check box indicates that it does affect the end of day processing.
- Distribution window
- The name of the distribution window for this expected transmission. Select a distribution window from the list. The list contains only the processing windows that have distribution in their window type. If a business category is specified for this expected transmission, the business day category of the selected distribution window must match the business category for this expected transmission.
Actions
The actions available on this page are:
- Learn more link opens the help page. This link is located at the top of the page.
- Close, which returns to the expected transmissions page.
- Save, which saves the expected transmission and returns to the expected transmissions page.
- Cancel, which returns to the expected transmissions page. All unsaved changes are lost.
