Create, view, or edit an entitlement page

The page displays the fields that are used to create, view, or update an entitlement. For existing entitlements, the name of the entitlement is shown in the title of the page.

Fields

The page has the fields that are shown in the following list. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk.
Name *
Enter a name for the entitlement. It must be unique.
Group operator
The logical operator that defines how the collection of entitlement conditions for the entitlement are evaluated. Select the operator from the list. If you select AND, all entitlement conditions in this entitlement must be satisfied to enforce the entitlement. If you select OR, entitlement is enforced if any of the entitlement conditions are satisfied.
Restrictive
Indicates whether this entitlement is a restrictive entitlement. Select the checkbox if the entitlement is restrictive. For more information, see Entitlements.
Description
Enter a description for the entitlement.
Conditions *
The entitlement conditions to enforce for this entitlement. You must assign at least one condition to the entitlement. This area has the following fields.
Search
Typing text in this field automatically filters the entitlement conditions that are displayed in the available list. The list displays only those entitlement conditions that match what was typed in the search field.
Available Entitlement Conditions
Displays the entitlement conditions that are available to be assigned to this entitlement. To assign entitlement conditions to an entitlement, select at least one entitlement condition from this list.
Assigned Entitlement Conditions
Displays the entitlement conditions that are currently assigned to the entitlement. To remove entitlement conditions from an entitlement, select at least one entitlement condition from this list.
Resources *
The resources that this entitlement applies to. Select Global UI Runtime Grid to apply the entitlement to the inbound and outbound information pages. For inbound, these pages include the inbound pages for physical transmissions, transmissions, batches (ICLs), transactions, and processing batches (ICLs). For outbound, these pages include the outbound pages for physical transmissions, transmissions, and batches (ICLs).
This area has the following fields. You must assign at least one resource to the entitlement.
Search
Typing text in this field automatically filters the resources that are displayed in the available list. The list displays only those resources that match what was typed in the search field.
Available Resources
Displays the resources that are available to be assigned to this entitlement. To assign resources to an entitlement, select at least one resource from this list.
Assigned Resources
Displays the resources that are currently assigned to the entitlement. To remove resources from an entitlement, select at least one resource from this list.

Actions

The actions that are available on the page are shown in the following list.
  • Learn more link opens the help page.
  • Create condition opens the dialog box to add an entitlement condition.
  • > in the conditions area assigns the entitlement conditions that are currently selected in the available conditions list to the entitlement.
  • < in the conditions area removes the entitlement conditions that are currently selected in the assigned conditions list from the entitlement.
  • > in the resources area assigns the resources that are currently selected in the available resources list to the entitlement.
  • < in the resources area removes the resources that are currently selected in the assigned resources list from the entitlement.
  • Edit changes the page to edit mode.
  • Close returns to the entitlements page.
  • Save saves the entitlement and returns to the entitlements page. At least one condition and one resource must be assigned to the entitlement for it to be saved.
  • Cancel returns to the page to view mode. When you are creating an entitlement, this action returns to the entitlements page. All unsaved changes are lost.
