Create, view, or edit endpoint packaging page

This endpoint packaging page displays the fields that are used to create, view, or update an endpoint packaging. For an existing endpoint packaging, the names of both the endpoint and the RDFI grouping are shown in the title of the page. The names are separated by a comma.

The page has the fields that are shown in the following list. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk.

Endpoint *

The endpoint used for this endpoint packaging configuration. Select an endpoint from the list. The list contains only the endpoints for this participant that are assigned to a grouping and are used as an endpoint. This field is read-only when the page is in view mode.

RDFI grouping *

The RDFI grouping for the endpoint packaging. Select the grouping from the list. A specific RDFI grouping can be used only once for an endpoint in the endpoint item-mapping configurations. It cannot be changed after the endpoint packaging is created. This field is read-only when the page is in view mode.

Endpoint Item Mapping Configurations *

This field contains the list of mapping configurations that are part of this endpoint packaging. This field is read-only when the page is in view mode. It is the bottom part of the page. It also has the following fields:

Item grouping: Displays the name of the grouping that is associated with the selected endpoint. This field is read-only.

Columns

The columns available on the mapping configuration part of the page are shown in the following table.

Column name or function	Description
Selection control	The first column is used to select one or more mapping configurations from the list. Clicking the table header selects all of the mapping configurations in the list.
Item mapping	The name of the item mapping that this endpoint item-mapping configuration applies to.
Transmission definition	The name of the transmission definition that is assigned to this item mapping.
RECO ID	When the transmission definition for this item mapping is associated with a connection for a receiver, the ID of the participant that owns the connection is shown.
Connection ID	When the transmission definition for this item mapping is configured to use a connection for the receiver, the ID of the connection is shown.
Distribution windows	The number of distribution windows that are assigned to this item mapping. It is a link that opens a dialog box that shows a list of the distribution windows that are assigned to the item mapping.
