Create, view, or edit Calendar page

The calendar page displays the fields that are used to create, view, or update a calendar record. For existing calendar records, the description from the calendar record is shown in the title of the page.

To navigate to this page, click the create button or the view details icon on the calendars page.

Calendar fields

This page has the following fields. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk.
Date *
Either enter a date or use the calendar selection tool to select a date for the holiday.
Description *
Describes the calendar record for the holiday. It cannot be longer than 32 characters.
Working Day
Indicates whether the date is a business day or not. Select the check box to indicate that the date is a working day.
Scope *
This section has the following fields, which are used to define the participants that the holiday applies to.
Scope
Select which participants this holiday applies to by choosing one of the following options.
Global
The holiday applies to all of the participants. No additional fields are required.
Participant
The holiday applies to the selected participant only.
Location data
The holiday applies only to the participants that match the location information that is defined in this calendar record. At least one of the country, region, or state/province fields is required when this scope is selected.
Participant *
When the scope is set to participant, select the participant that is associated with the holiday.
Country
When the scope is set to location data, select a country for the holiday.
Region
When the scope is set to location data, enter a region for the holiday.
State/Province
When the scope is set to location data, enter a state or province for the holiday.

Actions

The actions available on this page are:
  • Learn more link opens the help page. This link is located at the top of the page.
  • Save saves the calendar record and returns to the calendars page.
  • Cancel returns to the calendars page. In edit mode, this button returns the page to view mode. All unsaved changes are lost.
  • Delete is available in view mode. It deletes the calendar record and returns to the calendars page. The user must have the permission to delete calendar records.
  • Edit is available in view mode and changes the page to edit mode.
  • Close is available in view mode. It returns to the calendars page.
