Create User dialog box
The create user dialog box allows the user to add a new user. To open this dialog box, select the create button on the users page.
Create user fields
The create user dialog box has the following fields:

with an asterisk.
- User Id *
- The user ID used to log in to Control Center. It must be unique and cannot be longer than 32 characters.
- First Name
- The first name of the user.
- Last Name
- The last name of the user.
- An email address for the user.
- Phone
- A 10-digit phone number for this user. It may be consecutive digits or separated by dashes. The area code may be contained within parentheses. Examples of valid formats are: (555) 123-4567, 555-123-4567, or 5551234567.
- Language Locale *
- Select the preferred language for the user from the list. When no translation is available for this preferred language, English is used.
- Format Locale *
- Select the preferred time and date format locale for the user from the list. The format locale determines how the times and dates that this user views or provides as input are to be formatted.
- Timezone *
- Select the time zone where the user is located. Time stamps displayed to this user are converted to this time zone.
- Allow Delete
- Indicate if this user can be deleted by other users. A user cannot delete their own user ID, and many of the default system administrator IDs cannot be deleted.
- Show Internal Message
- Indicate if this user is shown the internally generated inbound messages for the inbound transmissions, batches (ICLs), segments, and transactions pages.
- Allow Lock
- Indicate if this user can be locked by other users. A user cannot lock their own user ID. If allow lock is disabled, the inactive users Services Framework task cannot lock this user due to inactivity.
- Locked
- Displays if this user ID is currently locked.
Actions
The actions available on this dialog box are:
- Save button saves the user and opens the user - user ID dialog box for the newly saved user.
- Cancel button returns to the users page. All unsaved changes are lost.
