Create Service page

The create service page displays the fields that can be edited to create a new outbound service.

Create Service Fields

The fields available on the create service page are:
Note: Required fields are indicated with an asterisk.
Service Code *
Four character code associated with the outbound service. The field is the primary key for the service and must be unique.
Service Type *
Type of service associated with the outbound service. The predefined service types are:
  • Archive
  • Bill for Addendum
  • Cutoff
  • Delivery
  • Discount
  • Extended Raid
  • File
  • Forward repair
  • General Service Type 1
  • General Service Type 2
  • General Service Type 3
  • General Service Type 4
  • General Service Type 5
  • Outsort
  • Reclear
  • Retired
  • SDS Service
Addendum Types
Defines the addendum records to be billed by the outbound billing task. This field is available only when the service type is bill for addendum and Billing is installed. For more information about this field, see Outbound Services Fields for Billing.
Description *
Description of the outbound service
Daily Billing Code
The daily billing code to be associated with this outbound service. This field is available only if Billing is installed and the service type is not bill for addendum or reclear. For more information about this field, see Outbound Services Fields for Billing.
Transmission Billing Code
The transmission billing code to be associated with this outbound service. This field is available only if Billing is installed and the service type is not bill for addendum or reclear. For more information about this field, see Outbound Services Fields for Billing.
Batch / ICL Billing Code
The batch (ICL) billing code to be associated with this outbound service. This field is available only if Billing is installed and the service type is not bill for addendum or reclear. For more information about this field, see Outbound Services Fields for Billing.
Item Billing Code
The transaction billing code to be associated with this outbound service. This field is available only if Billing is installed. For more information about this field, see Outbound Services Fields for Billing.
Service Area
The service area to be associated with this outbound service. It is four characters and is added to the billing entries associated with this service.
Image Archive Selector Code
Selector code of the image archive. The field is only available if the service type is archive.

Actions

The actions available on this page are:
  • Open documentation displays the help page.
  • Save saves the service details and returns to the manage outbound services page.
  • Cancel returns to the manage outbound services page. All unsaved changes are lost.
