Using the Image Compliance service

The Image Compliance service runs as an API subroutine library and is callable by using the Java™ language. To support this service, Image Compliance provides a set of Java archive (JAR) files, which provide the interface and function.
Note: Gateway has a built-in way to call Image Compliance. A user exit is not needed.
To use the Image Compliance service, do the following steps:
  1. Install the Image Compliance service software.
  2. Do one of the following options:
    1. Activate Image Compliance in Gateway Server or another supported component.
    2. Develop an application in the Java language that contains images to be evaluated. Instructions on interfacing to the Image Compliance service from an application can be found in Image Compliance API.
