Operational data relationships

The operational data model inherently provides a relationship hierarchy as shown in the following figure.

In addition, the OBJ_OBJ_REL table is provided to allow application and business relationships to be created between objects. The typical relationships used include caused and acknowledgment relationships. The following figure, from the sample application, illustrates this:
