Common Services has components that allow
deployment based on the most important business requirements of a client.
- Business Rules Server
- Make automated, intelligent routing decisions for virtually all capture channels from a single processing point, simplifying and enabling channel synchronization.
- Duplicate Detect
- Reduces fraud and reputation risk associated with duplicate payments through the use of cross-channel detection.
- Transaction Server
- Collects data from virtually all of the capture channels of a bank, providing a single repository of check-based payments across the enterprise.
- Gateway
- Provides a common doorway into and out of Common Services; supports item level transactions from image exchange networks, ATMs and other remote capture channels in multiple input formats, including X9.37, CIFF and XML.
- Image Quality Analysis
- Verifies image integrity to help ensure a readable image; compares the image to the electronic record, at an industry leading speed of up to 5,000 images per minute, to help ensure that the right image goes to the right customer.
- Image Compliance
- Performs the following functions:
- Accepts, verifies, and analyzes the image structure and image quality of document image records according to the properties and profile specified.
- Iterates through the metrics of the gray scale and black and white images in each document image record and accumulates the results of the tests.
- Returns to the application program the document image results for each document image record that was evaluated.
- Messaging API
- Provides a mechanism by which the Transaction Server sends requests to, and receives requests from, remote services. The services can perform specific actions against deposited transactions. Examples of these actions include repair, review, balancing, fraud checking.
