Install IBM MQ
For IBM MQ, you can use the IBM MQ operator or you can use an external IBM MQ instance.
If you want to run IBM MQ external to your FTM cluster, see Install and configure an external IBM MQ for FTM.
Before you install the IBM MQ operator, check the FTM hardware and software requirements for the versions of IBM MQ that can be used. The FTM hardware and software requirements are at the following link: FTM Hardware and Software requirements.
You need to have the operator channel for the version of IBM MQ that you are installing. For more information, see Version support for the IBM MQ operator in the IBM MQ documentation.
